CGA announces launch of the Youth Program. Starting June 19, CGA will offer baseball instruction with a strong focus on fundamentals, mechanics, development, and much more. The Youth Program is for kids ages 6-9 and all skill levels are welcome.
The Youth Program is designed to get kids interested in the great game of baseball, while preparing them to begin local and travel team programs.
CGA will start with the very basics of proper grip, throwing motion, fielding, and more with a strong emphasis on proper mechanics. While focusing on developing a strong foundation for each player, CGA is prepared to provide one on one individualized instruction in a group setting.
The Youth Program will span 8 weeks for the first session and will be broken into two age groups – 6-7 year olds and 8-9 year olds. The program is designed to allow players/families to set goals and track progress through our customized levels: Rookies, Futures, and All-Stars. Starting with the very basics and fundamentals of the game with a concentration on development, players will “graduate” to the next level, ending with preparation for game-type situations and play.
The program will run for 8 weeks (1 hour weekly session), and the cost is $80 for the Rookies Program. CGA Staff is excited about getting the Youth Players of Lancaster, York, Elizabethtown, Hershey, and more involved and interested in Baseball, while providing them with first class instruction.
